Who will you be working for?

Fin Chaser is proud to be one of New Zealand's leading Aluminium Fishing Boat brands. Based in Hamilton, we are a small but rapidly growing team passionate about creating top-quality boats. We are seeking an enthusiastic Marine Rigging Technician to join us and support our high workload as we continue to grow.

What will you be doing?

As a Rigging Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Aluminium Boats are completed to the highest standard. You will be responsible for fitting, finishing, and water testing our boats to guarantee performance and quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Pre-drilling for fittings before boats are painted
• Installing windscreens
• Fitting electronics and running wiring
• Installing motors and hydraulic steering systems
• Integrating Anura Amphibious systems into craft
• Testing boats on the river
• General finishing tasks

Skills and Experience we seek

We’re looking for someone with experience in marine rigging or related fields. Experience as an auto electrician or mechanic (motorbike or car) will also be considered. While training will be provided, we’re hoping to find someone who can hit the ground running.
