The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Fitter to work for a highly reputable manufacturing company based, in the Waikato. Our client has the latest technology in their custom built factory, on offer.

Reporting to the Reliability and Maintenance Manager, you will assist with coordinating and generating preventative and maintenance task lists. This is an afternoon shift 3pm - 11pm, where you will be supporting the maintenance team, inwards goods and storage facility.

What will you be doing?

• Help plan and execute planned and preventative maintenance, spare part supply and contractor services
• Basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic skills
• Generate preventative and maintenance task lists and work instructions for production
• Assist with a well organised maintenance spare parts store system
• Read electrical and/or mechanical drawings with the ability to repair, troubleshoot and install equipment
