What is the role?
You will be making outbound business to business calls to decision makers across the food service and hospitality sector (Chinese based clients), to understand their needs, recommend ideal solutions and foster long-term partnerships.  

You will be responsible for prospecting for new clients, qualifying leads, and converting them into loyal customers through exceptional customer service and product knowledge.

Day to day you responsibilities will include:

• Making outbound calls from a provided leads list and identifying new customers
• Entering accurate call data – great spelling and grammar is a must!
• Alerting customers of new offers and providing advise on industry trends and market conditions
• Proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies within the office

Start Date: This is a permanent full time role, starting ASAP!
Days/ Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm
Location: Te Rapa, Hamilton
Pay: $50,000 - $55,000 + incentive commissions quarterly + kiwi saver

About You: Your confident phone manner and engaging conversational skills means you have no problems picking up the phone to call businesses.

In addition, your experience includes:

• Fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese
• Proven experience in a phone-based sales role
• Ability to shake it off after hearing no (the resilience of Taylor Swift!)
• The ability to build strong relationships
• Evidence that you have achieved goals or targets in previous roles

Our client is a privately owned food service distribution business that operate over 200 refrigerated trucks, 15 distribution centre's, over 20 acres spread of country and servicing 10,000+ clients supported by around 750 team members.
